As a food Instagrammer, I go to a lot of restaurants for brunch. After a while, brunch food can get repetitive. So I’m always looking for different cuisines and creative dishes that stand apart from the brunch norm. Ronero is the perfect spot.
It’s one of my favorite times of the year… Choose Chicago‘s Chicago Restaurant Week. Over 370 restaurants participated this year with special prix fixe menus for brunch ($22), lunch ($33), or dinner ($44). Normally it runs for two weeks (this year: January 26-February 8) but they just announced they will be extending a few more days (until February 11 at select restaurants) to align with Chicago Theatre Week. Don’t miss your chance!
It seems like it was only yesterday when it was 80 degrees outside and now it’s quickly turned into sweater weather. The holidays are fast approaching, which means it’s time for lots of festive, fall-themed treats.
Looking for a great, casual place to grab brunch? You need to check out Gather. Tucked away in Lincoln Square, this spot offers delicious New American cuisine. It’s a fabulous neighborhood spot where friends and family can gather for a wonderful meal.
The weather is cool and crisp and the leaves are changing colors. Now that the temperature is dropping and it’s sweater weather, it can only mean one thing… the holidays are approaching! It’s almost Thanksgiving, which obviously means it’s the season for treats that taste like fall aka pumpkin flavored treats.
As I reflect back on 2015, I can say it’s been a big year of growth and learning. Also, a time of living life to the FULLest. Literally, my belly was full. I ate my way through the year…pizzas, burgers, doughnuts, cake, sushi, sandwiches, etc. You name it, I ate it….
Donut judge. I frequently think to myself, D.I.E.T. (Did I eat that?) This is especially true when it comes to doughnuts. I don’t know about you but I can’t resist these deep-fried, doughy treats especially if they are glazed and filled with chocolate, fruit, or custard. #thestruggleisreal…
