The Social Brunch is a great deal since you get to try a variety of dishes… plus, it includes two brunch cocktails per person.
{Ambiance}
When you first walk up to La Storia, you’ll notice there is a quaint patio out front complete with colorful plants and string lights.

The inside of La Storia is dimly lit and feels like a traditional Italian restaurant. With dark wood walls and classic white tablecloths, it is reminiscent of an old-school restaurant. If you are like me and want to take photos of your food, I recommend you sit outside at one of the patios.

In addition to the front patio, there is a second patio in the back with plenty of space. The back patio has a courtyard feel to it with enclosed brick walls and ivy. It feels like you’ve stepped outside of the city to a more calm and peaceful place.

{Food}
We decided to try La Storia’s Social Brunch, which is $30 per person and served family style. If you choose to do the Social Brunch, everyone at the table must participate. Once you decide on a cocktail (Prosecco, Sangria Italiana, or their Coming Up Roses cocktail), you can choose two starters, a pizza, and two entrées for the table.
FAB TIP: À la carte options are also available.
Monkey Bread
The Monkey Bread was a light appetizer. This wasn’t what you would normally think of when you order monkey bread. Instead of being topped with a lot of cinnamon and sugar, this was lightly sweetened with rosemary sugar. The glaze on top gave it a slight lemon taste. It was also topped with whipped cream cheese, which wasn’t too heavy.

Avocado & Lobster Toast
The Avocado & Lobster Toast was a smaller portion, but had generous amounts of plump pieces of lobster. However, it was a little too salty for my preference.

Margherita Pizza
The Margherita Pizza was airy, but still had a nice crunch. The thin crust wasn’t overly chewy or doughy and wasn’t doused with tomato sauce.

Crispy Eggplant Benedict
The Crispy Eggplant Benedict was my favorite dish because it didn’t have the traditional hollandaise sauce. Instead, it was topped with delicious roasted red pepper hollandaise. Also, in lieu of using English muffin or bread, the poached eggs were on top of breaded eggplant. Then it was topped with crispy, thin hash browns and caramelized onions.

Steak & Sunny Side Up Egg
The Steak & Sunny Side Up Egg was served over potato hash. It was made with thin slices of potatoes, king trumpet mushrooms, and caramelized onions. The steak had a lot of flavor and was well-seasoned.

Coming Up Roses
We tried the Coming Up Roses cocktail to enjoy with our meal. This cocktail was made with hibiscus tea, which was refreshing and perfect for sipping outside on the patio.

{Experience}
There are many options for brunch spots that offer food and drink deals, but La Storia’s Social Brunch really stands out. $30 is a great price for good food and drinks, in my opinion. They also offer a great variety of food and drinks to choose from if you don’t want to do the brunch package.
